Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Jennifer Rene Psaki was an American political adviser who was the 34th White House press Secretary between 2021 until 2022. As a part of the Democratic Party, she previously was a part of the Obama administration as the White House deputy press secretary (2009) and the White House deputy communications director (2009-2011) and the spokesperson for the United States Department of State (2013-2015) and as the White House communications director (2015-2017. Psaki was a political contributor to CNN between 2017 and 2020. Psaki's career started in 2001 when she began working for the reelection campaigns of Tom Harkin, an Iowa Democratic candidate for the U.S. Senate. Psaki was appointed John Kerry's deputy press secretary in 2004. From 2005 until 2006, Psaki served as communications director for U.S. representative Joseph Crowley as well as the regional press secretary of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki was appointed press secretary for President Obama's 2012 presidential election campaign. 20 years ago, Psaki was appointed spokesperson for the United States Department of State on February 11, 2013. Her appointment in the Department of State fueled speculation that she could replace White House Press Secretary Jay Carney after he left the White House, on May 30 in 2014 it was announced Josh Earnest would replace Carney.
